Palisády 31

Headquarters of Správa Služieb Diplomatickému Zboru a.s.

The administration building is located in the outer centre of Bratislava at Palisady 31. This street connects Hodžovo Námestie and the new Slovak National Council building near Bratislava Castle. The building stands by itself at the corner of Šulekova ulica and Palisady.

The building has a U-shaped floor-plan and three wings, where the side wings are shorter than the centre. There are three above-ground floors and a loft that was constructed during the building’s most recent renovation in 1988-1991.

It was originally built to be leased and has commercial and operating space, probably from the past century. When it was expropriated in 1946, it was put under the authority of the Bratislava Housing Administration. From 1957 until 1993, the building was used and managed by Stavokombinát for the City of Bratislava.

Construction of the Diplomat administrative centre at Palisady No. 29 has been completed and it is partially connected to the headquarters of DBSA a.s.
